Always make sure you fully un-install your old anti-virus before attempting to install Kaspersky.
If you are having issues with "incompatible software", or if you have had any of the following anti-virus programs at any time previously:
You will need to run their respective removal tools as these anti-virus tend to leave leftover traces of themselves on the system.
You can click on one of the anti-virus in the above list to be taken to the manufacturers website to obtain the tool.
